This rarely seen carved top & back mandola (usually referred to as the Lyon & Healy Style A) is highly sought after in the American classical mandolin universe, and its sheraton brown finish makes it even rarer. This particular example is crack free with all original hardware, including the coveted engraved Lyon & Healy tailpiece. The neck is straight with minimal fret wear and the the tone is rich with considerable volume. Comes with worn but very functional original hard case.
