This week we’re shining the spotlight on Grateful Dawg Soundtrack, the audio companion to the Sony Classics documentary film about the musical friendship of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, directed by Gillian Grisman. This album, released by Acoustic Disc in 2001, features live and studio recordings by Jerry and Dawg, plus rare performances by bluegrass master Bill Monroe and Scottish balladeer Ewan MacColl, featured in the film.
