This week we’re spotlighting David Grisman Quintet Live at the Count Basie Theater. On June 5, 2009, the quintet played to a packed house in Red Bank, NJ, Dawg’s home state. The band included DGQ veterans Jim Kerwin (bass), Matt Eakle (flute), George Marsh (drums) and their new guitarist, Grant Gordy. The vibe and music that night was special and captured in its entirety by sound engineer Paul Knight.
