1926 Gibson TGL-3 Tenor Guitar

Here’s a possibly one-of-a-kind Gibson tenor guitar, never catalogued, from the mid 1820s. With it’s cremona brown sunburst, this rare archtop, oval hole instrument was played by my pal Tyler Jackson on our “Tenor Madness” project (check his intro to “Tea for Two”). With all original parts including pickguard, tailpiece, adjustable bridge and banjo tuners, this guitar is in excellent playing condition with a straight, truss-rodded neck and little to no fretwear. In over 60 years of hunting down vintage acoustic instruments, I’ve never seen (or even heard of) another one!

$4,650 with non-original hard case
