This week we’re spotlighting Dawgwood Deluxe Edition by the David Grisman Quintet Originally released on CD in 1993 by Acoustic Disc, Dawgwood features the David Grisman Quintet with Dawg on mandolin, Jim Kerwin on bass, Matt Eakle on flute, Rick Montgomery on guitar and Joe Craven on percussion and violin. The program includes David’s own dawg music, gypsy jazz by Django Reinhardt and chore by Jacob do Bandolim. This Acoustic Oasis Deluxe Edition contains three previously unissued tracks and was mastered in High Definition (24 bit, 96 kHz), the sonically superior format.
