The Pizza Tapes captures these virtuosos at a rare moment in time, free of pressure, hassles or any given agenda other than making music and having plenty of fun. This edition includes the entire session with 16 previously-unissued alternate takes in addition to the original master takes with more of the personal repartee, which made the original release so endearing and insightful.
