DGBX (David Grisman Bluegrass Experience)

The David Grisman Bluegrass Experience has been the Dawg’s bluegrass outlet for nearly two decades. The band of stellar Bay Area bluegrass musicians includes Keith Little (Ricky Skaggs, Dolly Parton, the Country Gentlemen) on 5-string banjo, guitar and vocals, Jim Nunally (John Reischman & the Jaybirds) on guitar and vocals, Chad Manning on fiddle, Samson Grisman on bass and of course, David Grisman on mandolin and vocals.

Their two Acoustic releases, DGBX and Muddy Roads feature many bluegrass and old-time music standards done in the hardcore traditional style that the Dawg has always loved and played.
