DAWG LATIN AUDIO COMPANION

This collection of audio tracks is a companion piece to Dawg Latin, the fourth volume in David Grisman’s Book of the Dawg series. Its purpose is to assist the student in learning the 20 pieces in this volume. There are four audio tracks for each piece — a “listen” track, featuring David playing the tune and three “practice” tracks, generated by computer from the actual written charts. The “listening” tracks are derived from recordings most representative of the versions in the book, including the melody and in some cases, mandolin solos. The “practice” tracks are at three different speeds designated “slow”, “medium” and “tempo” with metronome.
