John Cohen – Stories the Crow Told Me 

Dawg & Danny discuss and listen to selections from John Cohen’s Stories the Crow Told Me, a wonderful exploration of Old-Time music and the only solo album by the noted founding member of the New Lost City Ramblers. John was the folklorist/photographer/film-maker who discovered Roscoe Holcomb while recording the classic Folkways album, Mountain Music of Kentucky in 1960. This Acoustic Disc project, released in 1998, was produced by David Grisman and is still available as a digital download.
