This week we’re spotlighting Dawgnilo, a Pan American mandolin summit featuring Brazil’s premiere exponent of choro music, Danilo Brito and our own David “Dawg” Grisman, accompanied by members of their respective ensembles from both Brazil and the USA. This unique collaboration includes original compositions by David and Danilo as well as classic Brazilian pieces by Jacob do Bandolim, Pixinguinha and Antonio Carlos Jobim. These studio recordings were mastered in the sonically superior High Definition (24-bit, 96 kHz) format.
