David Grisman & Martin Taylor
From the vast Dawg archives of live recordings comes this previously unreleased acoustic duo performance recorded in London's prestigious, acoustically perfect Wigmore Hall in April, 1996, featuring mandolinist David Grisman and guitarist Martin Taylor.
Martin and Dawg go way back to the early 1980s when they both toured with legendary violin master Stephane Grappelli, and Taylor recorded on several of Grisman's LPs and their own CDs for Acoustic Disc (Tone Poems II and I'm Beginning to See the Light) in the 1990s.
This excellent recording marks their first live release and features them playing classic standards as well as contemporary originals in this rarely-heard duo setting.
