Jethro Burns Legacy

Dawg & Danny discuss and listen to selections from the Jethro Burns Legacy project with Don Stiernberg, who played rhythm guitar on this historic collection of duets featuring the great pioneer of jazz mandolin, Jethro Burns. Two CDs of this music were released on Acoustic Disc in the 1990s and the Legacy project combined those CDs with previously unissued material to complete this 60-track compilation of Jethro’s last recordings. These classic performances have inspired mandolin players and listeners worldwide for nearly three decades.
